Can iTunes print CD labels or export track lists?

I know iTunes can print CD inserts, the paper that goes into a jewel case. But what I am asking about is the ability to print a label that would go onto the CD itself. This is useful when I have burned a playlist onto a CD.

Ideally, I would like to print directly from within iTunes.

If that is not possible, I would settle for exporting the track list so I can import it into another program (I have Nero Express) that can print a CD label.

I want to be able to print paper labels or LightScribe "labels."

Thanks for any help.

You are correct. iTunes can print the CD jewel case inserts. It cannot print labels for the CD.

If you want to use the playlist information in another program, just do a highlight and copy from the playlist, and then paste into the other program.

The editing in the Lightscribe program (Sure Thing) is IMHO not too good, so I usually do the paste into Notepad, do the editing there, then copy /paste into Lightscribe and do final formatting there.

Thanks for the reply. I know Apple is all about iPods but leaving out the ability to print a disc label is a ridiculous shortcoming. It's enough to make me think about leaving iTunes (I don't have an iPod so iTunes is not that big a win for me compared to MediaMonkey, WinAmp, etc.).

Has anyone come up with a script that solves the problem?
