Currently Being ModeratedNov 8, 2007 9:45 AM (in response to Mac Medic (be@MacOSG.com))I've been on Leopard for only a couple of days now, but I do use Entourage all day, everyday. Haven't had any problems yet. I'm going to keep my eye on this thread just in case something comes up though. Good luck.2.4 15" MPB, PB 1.67 Low-Res, 15 gb iPod 3G, iPod Shuffle, Mac OS X (10.4.6)
It did work fine for a few days also, but all of a sudden I've been having all kinds of problems. I even rebuilt the database and installed the latest update.Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro • 120GB HD • 3GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.5), 60G Photo, Shuffle iPods • iPhone • AppleCare

Hope you're able to get this sorted out. Looks like I'll probably be looking for an update to your situation in a few days.2.4 15" MPB, PB 1.67 Low-Res, 15 gb iPod 3G, iPod Shuffle, Mac OS X (10.4.6)
Since installing Leopard on my MacBook I find if I try to rebuild the database in Entourage that it freezes and I have to Force Quit. Are there any RECENT updates anywhere?MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5), 2Gb RAM
Currently Being ModeratedNov 9, 2007 2:49 PM (in response to Mac Medic (be@MacOSG.com))Ever since I bought and installed Leopard on my PowerBook G4, my Entourage keeps shutting down unexpectedly every time I open it up, then I chose relaunch until it works. But also other programs are also not working at all. This is very frustrating and also hurting my business. These are the other programs that are not working:
Adobe Acrobat CS3
I have been a happy Apple Owner for the last ten years until now that I installed this Leopard OS. Please I need help to run these programs.PowerBook G4 17" 2GB RAM, 100 GB HD, 1.67 MHz, Mac OS X (10.5)
Currently Being ModeratedNov 10, 2007 5:17 AM (in response to Mac Medic (be@MacOSG.com))I'm having the same problem with Entourage suddenly quitting. It runs fine--sometimes for hours--and then just shuts down.
I've also had the beachball problem right after starting up Entourage. It goes away, but takes several minutes. This, too, is new behavior since I installed Leopard.
I have the original BlackBook, 2 gb memory and a 200 gb driveBlackBook (2.0 core duo), Mac OS X (10.5), Windows 2003 Server
Currently Being ModeratedNov 13, 2007 4:22 PM (in response to Mac Medic (be@MacOSG.com))I'm having the same issue. Seems like every time my scheduled "send/receive" task runs, I get the beach ball when trying to type. Occurs whether I'm typing in Word, Excel, Entourage, Adium instant messenger, etc.
Anyone know cause or fix?macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.5)
Currently Being ModeratedNov 21, 2007 8:19 AM (in response to Mac Medic (be@MacOSG.com))I have this problem. Also I have a different problem ... after a few hours I cannot access the Internet but on killing Entourage access is immediatly restored.Mac Pro (8 Core), Mac OS X (10.5.1)
Currently Being ModeratedNov 21, 2007 9:09 AM (in response to Mac Medic (be@MacOSG.com))Interesting. My Entourage used to do that a lot in Tiger, especially when synching addresses. Leopard has actually improved things a bunch. I must say that Entourage actually works better now than it ever did.

Currently Being ModeratedDec 6, 2007 5:16 PM (in response to Mac Medic (be@MacOSG.com))Entourage was working great until I installed Leopard.
Now Entourage quits unexpectedly about every 30 minutes; or, if it is idle for about 20 minutes.
This issue is consistent with all three of my *24" iMacs*, and my *15" Powerbook Pro*. All have been upgraded to Leopard 10.5.1. All Microsoft updates are up-to-date.
Here is a thought... I copied my Entourage identity and copied it to the other Apples. I wonder if it is a *database issue*? I have compacted them. But, it does not seem to help.

I'm using Entourage and I am not having any problems. I did an "erase and install" with leopard then installed MS Office. It might be very well be a corrupted database. I havn't heard many good things from anyone that did the "upgrade" Leopard installation.MacBook Pro 15" 2.4GHz with 4Gbytes, Mac OS X (10.5.1), Cox cable, ZyXEL P-330W v1.7, PAP2 v2 for Vonage, G-Drive Q for TM
I have noticed something strange with my Entourage problem. When I try to rebuild the database the application freezes so I have to Force Quit it, BUT the database DOES rebuild and Entourage then functions okay again after I restart it. Very strange but at least it's liveable with for now.MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.1), 2Gb RAM
I am having the same problem with Entourage suddenly shutting down. Some days it doesn't happen, other days it happens a couple of time or more. I purchased the iMac 2 weeks ago, installed Leopard with the disk provided, downloaded updates and then installed Office a few days later.
Would love to hear suggested solutions.iMac Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.1)
