Apple hard drive update 1.0

I just saw "Apple hard drive update 1.0" in macupdate.com
The Hard Drive Update 1.0 includes bug fixes and important updates for the following systems:
iMac Core 2 Duo (Mac OS X 10.4.7 or later) Mac Pro (Mac OS X 10.4.7 or later)
but when I went to Software Update my iMac shows "Your software is up to date".
Do I need it?

For some reason this update just showed up today in Software Update. Of course I'd like to know what "bug fixes and important updates" there were to fix. I'll probably wait a while before applying this update to see if anyone has any problems or can clarify what those bug fixes and important updates are about.
