Hello. I have a MacBook Pro that's currently out of warranty, so I'm hoping I can find an answer to my problem here. The problem is, my MacBook Pro makes a very loud buzzing sound, especially when I watch a video or work with any high-res graphics. Since, I'm a designer, this is a necessary part of my computing life.
Anyway, the sound it makes is disturbing, and it almost feels like it's revving up to explode! Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Seems to me like the hard drive is working overtime.
Please help!

Does it sound like a loud grinding/revving noise, as if it's ready to trim your lawn or blow up?
Sounds like the same problem I've had in the past. It's probably your fan — they make that terrible noise if they're a tiny bit misaligned. it's a simple fix at your Apple Store, probably a few hours or overnight repair.
