SE/30 welcome disk

If your asking for the system disks, i would look to ebay, or maybe try other world computing. what does your machine do when you turn it on? if you get a floppy on the screen with a ? over it the hard drive should be ok, if you get a floppy with a x over it you hard drive is probably bad. sorry if this is not of any help, but i'm looking for more post to show up on my sig. ha.
not sure but i think hyper card was on separate disks. it been a long time.

mine is actually retired now sitting in the basement. but by max'd out i just mean i have all the ram slots filled, and a whopping 20 gig drive. i put this in my profile just as a lark, just thinking of the days when ram cost real money.

Macintosh Basics 5.0.3 here could possibly be an alternative.

What you write of sounds like Your Apple Tour of the Macintosh SE/30, 690-5388-A, 1988. A regular prowl through the Vintage pages of eBay may net you a copy, sooner or later. Or you could list the diskette in the 'Wanted to Buy' pages of eBay.

Was searching for OS 7.1Pro, not for this-but remembered your post.Did download the OS from gamba earlier,but the install 3 disk isn't working. Link is broken now- did see it once on ebay for sale,but thought had a working copy.

System 7.1Pro? System 7 Pro is also System 7.1.1, containing 7.1 and PowerTalk (yecch), AppleScript and QuickTime. I'd stick with plain vanilla System 7.1 if I didn't/couldn't use 7.5 (but still ignore PowerTalk). System 7.5 comes on eight floppies plus four for PowerTalk and QuickDraw, and eats more RAM than System 7.1, but their applications are compatible. System 7.5 also comes on CD-ROM.

I searched for the system 7.1.1(Pro) because it contains Cd-ROM usage i believe. I've got 7.1.2 for PM as I mentioned.
I've found a possibility to use my old CD-ROM with 7.1.-lost adress!
Found a german version of 7.1,too,still working.
You can downsize 7.5 / 7.5.3 to 7.1 I'm told(gamba site).
Will search on-and learn!

In order to use an Apple CD-ROM drive with System 7.1, an Apple CD-ROM extension (e.g., version 5.4 here) will have to be put in the Extensions folder (this is adequate for basic use; various helper files can be added). For a third-party drive, an appropriate driver (perhaps the generic CD-Sunrise v2.2c) will be required.
