Nov 11, 2007 11:14 AM in response to Larry Malby Larry Mal,Something that had IR's from actual places would be super groovy, if anyone knows of where I could get that. -
Nov 11, 2007 5:41 PM in response to Larry Malby John Buehler,Free ones are at www.noisevault.com. I don't use them much, quality does seem to be lacking if you want pristine reverbs.
The best ones are expensive, but I totally dig them:

This forum is typically for people who are making their own, since that is the purpose of the Impulse Response Utility. You might want to post the question in the Logic 7 and 8 forums, more people go there that are using impulses that are already made.

Nov 11, 2007 7:11 PM in response to John Buehlerby Larry Mal,Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't actually done any but the most superficial research into making an IR, and don't really know how to do it. When I have found a space that intrigues me I'll look into doing that, probably by summer. In the meantime I'm just trying to explore what the program does- the reverb is actually the main reason I bought Logic. Thanks for your help! -

Mar 28, 2008 1:32 AM in response to Matt Rogalskyby Marc Verhoeven,Hi Matt, Thanks a lot, I love this kind of thing. Googled up a few images of the Elveden Estate, must have been a complete trip walking around there.
Anyway, you posted 24bitAltiverb versions and 16bitAIFF versions; were the recordings in 16bit, or in 24bit? I don't use Altiverb, so I will convert the 24bits, but only if needed
