What is the ipod 5.5 generation ? (never heard of it, is it not out in uk)

Just wondering if anyone could let me know more about this ipod 5.5 gen,

Is it the ipod classic 80gb ?

Has it got coverflow like the classic,

Could anyone send me a link to a web page for this item ?

One minor addition, the "5.5" might also be referred to in places as a "Second revision" version of that iPod release (Generation 5, 2nd revision). Its all the same thing...

To clarify Bryan's post a bit, the "5.5 generation" tag is not an official designation but simple a slang name we/the discussion forums gave the second version of the 5th generation Video iPods to help differential between the two somewhat different types of 5th generation iPods as they are the same "family/line" but did have some differences (5.5 Gens got better battery life, brighter screens, a music search function, and possibly other things that slip my mind at the moment).
If you try to find them in the Apple support pages for specifications, the "5.5 Gen" ones are referred to as "Fifth Generation iPod (Late 2006)". Specs can be found here...

The 5.5g iPod is not the 80gb classic.

They originally introduced the 5g iPod in 30, and 60gb capacities. In late 2006, they updated it with a few features (including a search feature), a brighter screen, and upped the 60gb model to 80gb. This is commonly called a 5.5g, or a 'late 2006' model.
