VOIP keeps 'locking'
My current setup is Cable modem, AirPort Extreme then Linksys Sipura 1001. I have forwarded ports (both UDP/TPC) 5060-5064, 10000-20000, and 5004 per my VOIP provider (GalaxyVoice).
I've assigned the Sipura a fixed ip based on its MAC address (192.168.1.199).
It will work for a very limited time, then I get no incoming calls. The caller will dial my number then get dead air. If they wait long enough, they get a fast busy signal.
I had this issue when I first started using VOIP (with a Netgear router). Forwarding the ports fixed it immediately.
Its really weird, because it will work for a while <1hr, then stop. Its almost as if a call will hang the system, or maybe something happens within the Router or Sipura at fixed times that causes it all to stop again.
Any idea?
