Hey hello,
I was be able to run OnyX with rootuser. And it's working well.

However, "script doesn't understand the event earsffdr message" - this error only comes when i ran it under the prime user account.
Not only that, the same or similar error message happen to "FLV2iTunes" "iSquint" & OnyX too. And all of these apps running well with rootuser enabled.

Is that something we installed which caught this AppleScript error??
My extra Pref Panes have BadAPE, DivX, Growl, iStat Menus, Mira.
Any idea?

I wish I wish I wish I never bought Leopard...

I just installed the Onyx beta and got the same error message. Unfortunately it has destroyed Apple script altogether. Not a single one of Doug's Scripts works anymore, in fact if I choose one I get the apple equivalent of the BSOD. I didn't see that once in Tiger, I've seen it at least 50 times in my month with Leopard.

Apple I'm beginning to really hate you...

I was working around with a few machines and noticed that the problem only exist with Tiger-Leopard upgrade. Some upgrade from 10.4.11 proved to be no problem. those bounded to problem one were from 10.4.earlier version, or might have some permission error that leopard couldn't fix after the upgrade. I had follow some other threads to run some command line trying to fix those permission setting. Finally I gave up and decided to run clean Leopard installation. And it works better than the 10.4.11-Leopard upgrade. It use UID501 and GID20 as Leopard intended instead of the UID501 and GID501 on the upgraded system.
