Boatload of old Apple IIGS games

My family and I recently came across all of our old Apple IIGS games while cleaning out a closet. We started to wonder if these old games would work on my eMac. I still have system 9 on my machine. Could the games work, or is there too much of a gap in the operating systems?

I only ask because my family and I still think the games that came out for the IIGS were great. Simple and addicting. We'd hate to throw them out.

The easiest thing to do is check eBay and buy an old IIgs. They are fairly common and the base models do not command a high price.

There are software emulators available such as Bernie ][ the Rescue and KEGS. The big problem is finding a way to convert your diskettes to disk images usable by these emulators. Tons of Apple II info can be found on the FAQ here:
