PLEASE HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM!!!!!! IMovie 07'

I have 1Movie 07' HD. I am tring to import LIKE USUAL but it won't connect my camera! I have a fire wire and i've imperted on this program FOREVER it isn't working!! Why not?!
