iPod Touch's iTunesdb (yes, this is about Linux)

This is at least the fourth article about the iPod on Linux. The other ones have been systematically deleted.

Does anyone have any ways to sync an iPod Touch with anything other than iTunes at the moment? I'm considering an iPod Touch, but only if I can sync it to Amarok on my Linux box. Any ideas?

iMac G3 and Homebrew computer, Other OS, iMac G3 with OS X, but main machine is Homebrew with Linux

This should not be taken as a post about circumvention of proprietary encryption hashes. We would like to be able to use our iPods on Linux in the way they are intended.

Agreed - to a point.
I want to use an official Apple-sanctioned way to communicate with the iPod, but I'd rather not have to use iTunes.

I wish that they would make a linux enabled Itunes, because i cant make windows work well on my computer,and, Linux just works sooo well for me.
