making one track from multiple tracks

QuickTime Pro only lets me use one audio track when adding music to a slideshow.

Is there some way in iTunes that I can combine 2 or more tracks into 1 track?

G4, Mac OS X (10.2.x)

Why aren't you using iPhoto?
You have a LOT more control and options.

You can only use 1 track in QT. To use more, you ned to combine the songs into 1 track.
Open song 1 and song 2.
Go to song 2, Command A (select all),, then Command C (copy).
Go back to song 1, move the slider to the end (or were you want the other song to start) then Command V (paste).
Now you have one long track with 2 songs. You can also move the two sliders under the time bar to cut a portion out.

I would do Get Info on the tracks and renumber them, at least temporarily.

EDIT: Apparently you can't do that prior to importing. Sorry...usually when someone joins two tracks, it is two tracks that follow each other. All I can suggest is to put the tracks in a playlist and burn them in the order you want them on a CD. Then join the tracks when you re-rip them into iTunes.
