Connecting palm treo 700wx to macbook pro via bluetooth

I am trying to connect my palm treo 700wx to my macbook pro via bluetooth. I am trying to sync my treo to my mac for use with missing sync. I have successfully paired my treo with my mac, but according to the bluetooth preferences the treo is not connected. It says paired: yes, connected: no. Next to the treo icon there is a little heart. What does this mean? This is the first time any of my bluetooth devices has had a heart next to it. While trying to pair the two devices a semi-transparent box pops up at the bottom of the screen. It has a windows mobile icon and is says something like trying to connect. After a few seconds the semi-transparent box says "device ignored" and the box disappears. Can anyone please help me with this/

To troubleshoot this issues, start here and follow this path through the available options:

• choose I've already installed the Missing Sync Software <next>
• choose Connection Issue: Choose this option if the sync button is grayed out <next>
• choose Bluetooth Connection <next>
• choose Hangs on establishing connection <next>

That instruction set should guide you through resolving the issue.
