I do not know of any way to change the font size on-screen in ical. Yet, you can change the font size when printing calendars in ical by selecting small, medium or large as font size - bottom right hand side of the print window. I would also suggest using different colors for calendars as it may help with viewing.

So far, all I can find to do to increase the text size in I-Cal is to reduce the resolution of your display. In doing so, you will increase the size of everything else. I hope that helps.
I couldn't agree more: Apple's failure to allow font size changes is ludicrous. I've got perfectly good eyesight, but I have to strain to see entries in iCal. I'm sticking with Palm desktop.
What I do is all my entries have different colors. I agree that it is WAY to small and my aging eyes don't help. I would hope apple is listening and will address the problem.
Instead of changing the font size, can you set all your calendar colors darker? This would at least provide more contrast between the white lettering, and the colored bars.
If you click on the calendars in the left-hand window, the info box is where you can set the colors. I found the easiest way to assign colors is in the crayon box, since there are way fewer choices than on the color wheels. I'm using Tiger, with iCal 2.05, so the Leopard instructions may be a little different.
How do you contact Apple?
How they can be so assanine that you can't make the font isze BIGGER. I can't read the calendar entrries. What good is it???????
WAKE UP APPLE. This problem is years old and one of the more important ones
