iCal font size

Is there any way to increase the default font size in iCal as I find it a bit small for my getting older eyes ?

I do not know of any way to change the font size on-screen in ical. Yet, you can change the font size when printing calendars in ical by selecting small, medium or large as font size - bottom right hand side of the print window. I would also suggest using different colors for calendars as it may help with viewing.

Hope this helps.

Count me in on this! I cannot believe in 2007 that Apple has out a key program that does NOT allow one to change the font size!

The text is far too small to be usable, especially on a high-res laptop screen.

And here I was thinking about switching from the Palm Desktop to iCal. No longer!

File this in the category of "What were they thinking?"

Instead of changing the font size, can you set all your calendar colors darker? This would at least provide more contrast between the white lettering, and the colored bars.

If you click on the calendars in the left-hand window, the info box is where you can set the colors. I found the easiest way to assign colors is in the crayon box, since there are way fewer choices than on the color wheels. I'm using Tiger, with iCal 2.05, so the Leopard instructions may be a little different.

This is really not a solution, as the calendar and the calendar text are still the same color, only different opacitiy.

Even black text on a black calendar doesn't improve the situation.

The iCal really needs full font control.

Here is the link to leave feedback and request that the font controls be added:
