Airport Express Assistant SetUp CD

I misplaced my airport express set up CD and would like to download the airport express assistant for Windows. I cannot find it anywhere on the apple site of by goog searh. All I can find is the firmware update. If someone could lead me to this file it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for helping. The software I find on this page is called the firmware update. It does not take me through the set up of the airport express. The disc that I originally had worked but then I tried to install the printer and I have never been able to get it to work again. Now it's been 6 months and I thought I would give it another shot. I can't find the disc I used. Is this firware update all I need?

The AirPort Admin Utility v4.2 for Windows is under the "Download Details" section on the upper right corner of the page.

You can only download the admin utility at apple. i believe he's looking for the "airport express setup assistant" which allows you to set up the airport for the 1st time. i can't find it anywhere either.

Sorry, but that's not correct. The link I provided has the installer package for both the AirPort Admin Utility and the AirPort Setup Assistant for the Windows platform. Although the AirPort Setup Assistant makes "1st time" installation easier, you can use either utility to do the initial setup.

I also noticed that there is an update at: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/airportbasestationupdate2007002forwindows .html

When I tried to run it, it tells me that I need to have version 5.0 installed. Is there an upgrade available from v4.2 to v5.0 please?

Version 5.0 is (only) available on the CD which comes with the new Airport Extreme 802.11n base station.

It is not available for download.

It is not necessary for adminstering the Airport Express.

You do not need to download or install the update.
