Songs won't show up in iPod

When I plug my iPod into my computer, all my songs and playlists will show up in iTunes like they are on my iPod. However, when I eject my iPod from iTunes, none of my playlists, songs, etc. will show up in my iPod. What do I need to do to fix this???

What type of iPod do you have?

If it's a 5th generation iPod, as per:

Identifying different iPod models

... and you have firmware version 1.2.2, see:

iPod (5th generation): Songs and other content do not appear after updating to software version 1.2.2

same thing happened to me. i was told to download new 7.5 itunes and it would fix it but it didn't. all photos, etc. show up but no songs. have you been able to resolve this issue yet? if so let me know...

You could restore your iPod. Apple have disabled software version 1.2.2 so restoring your iPod will return it to version 1.2.1 which should resolve the issue.
