The Roxio Web Site says Toast 7.1.2 will not burn 'some' discs and a software update is anticipated. Toast 8 is supposed to work with OS 5. I've burned CDs without any problems, but DVDs won't burn using v7.
Well I just rebought/upgraded Eye TV to Eye TV 2. Toast did not come with that one and tried to download the recent Toast and cant get above the 7 version.... do I need/have to buy up to version 8??? unnnghhh.
Yes. Versions earlier than 7.1.2 will not work at all with Mac OS X 10.5.x. The current version is 8.0.3. If you're going to use Toast with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), you should upgrade to a recent version.
I'm replying to this since I don't get on here often enough to remember how to post a new question. I had successfully been burning shows that I downloaded to dvds through Toast. I did have 7.0 now I have 8.0 Suddenly I am getting this error message when I try to download now, "No Recorder Found. Please check cables and power." All cables are in. Power is on, battery is not low. I have restarted...and still the same error msg. Any suggestions?
