We've never said that this can't be patched! In fact, we're working on a Toast 7.1.3 update that will resolve the burning problem in Leopard. The fix is already in QA and has been provided as a beta to a limited number of discussion forum users to solicit feedback.

Hello,

From this thread (link) it sounds like that is the case. I guess you'll need to use Disk Utility/Finder until Roxio finish that update (they have updated Toast 8 BTW so should be working on it now).

cheers

When I installed Leopard, I maintained my last Tiger system on another bootable volume for fall-back as such incompatibilities are to be expected with third party software.

Hopefully Roxio will come out with the fix for Titanium 7 soon so I won't have to restart the old system to burn DVDs etc.

BTW, my error code was -18723. I ALWAYS save a disc image (.toast) before I burn. I can mount it and check it with DVD player to avoid coasters.

I'd like to mention my displeasure at discovering that the lack of OS9 support in Leopard, This fact was hardly advertised by Apple and marks the first OS ever that lacked backwards compatibility for Mac applications. A sad day for Mac aficionado! Another reason to keep my 10.4.11 system alive and backed up!
