Move Outlook 2007 email to Mail.app

I am setting up my fiancees new Macbook, and need to know how to move her Outlook email to Mail. I noticed the following quote on the "Why you'll love a Mac" page: "Email? You can transfer all your years’ worth of Microsoft Outlook email messages over to your Mac with just a few steps." The problem is I cannot find the exact steps on how to do this. Any help from my fellow mac heads would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue. After reading this post last night I downloaded OM2 from littlemachines and tried the limited trial. It immediately notified me that it can't get my outlook to work, that I must have a security lock or issue of some kind. I shut off my antivirus, restarted, and that didn't fix. Any ideas?

You just need to suck it up and pay the $10. I did after the reply above and it was very easy to get my mail from Outlook to Mail.

Hello. I DID pay the $10 and SHOULD have tried the demo first.....o2M is just unable to connect. I have removed software on my PC that Outlook may be connecting with and turned off virus software. This has just take way too long. My next try may be Thunderbird.
