Unable to print via Pharos (not PopUp)

Since upgrading to Leopard, I've had trouble printing to my school's Pharos printer. The setup under Tiger (which is the same for Leopard) is to set up an LPD printer by entering the IP address and queue name. It works fine to print from my MBP, and the document appears on the Pharos server's client terminal, but when I try to print I get an internal error about an undefined document. I've tried a variety of documents (Pages, Word, PDF), and they all result in an error. I never had trouble with Tiger, and none of the PC users seem to be encountering problems.

Anyone else seen this or have thoughts?
