ISync with Sony Ericsson W300i

ISync say's the phone will not work with the program. So I went to the Apple Support page and the phone W300i is in the list for the supported phones. What went wrong ? What can I do ?

Powerbook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Apple's iSync supported devices page is incorrect. The W300i is only natively supported by Mac OS X 10.5 'Leopard' using iSync 3.0.

To sync the W300i with iSync 2.4 and Mac OS X 10.4.x you'll need an iSync Phone Plugin from http://www.feisar.com/

Does anyone have info on a plugin for the w300i using isync 1.5 on OS 10.3.9. I can drag and drop pictures and music but not contacts or other files. thanks, Mike

Unfortunately, iSync v1.5 is just too old for syncing the latest phones. It simply doesn't have the required protocols nor iSync 2.x's Phone Plugin architecture.

You would need to upgrade to iSync 2.4 or later and Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later to use iSync with the W300i.

You should be able to send vCards directly from Address Book via Bluetooth as a workaround, but this is not syncing by any means.
