Connect Macbook Pro to TV using RCA cables

I'd like to connect my Macbook Pro (specs below) to my Television. I want video and audio. My TV only has the RCA jack inputs (and maybe a S-Video connector). I have some video podcasts that I'd like to watch on a bigger screen, and maybe record onto my DVR.

I see Apple sells a "DVI to Video Adapter". Is that what I need? I'm confused because the description says it is for a "ATI X1900 XT" graphics card, and my Macbook Pro has NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT. Also, looking at the picture, I'm confused where the Audio jacks would go.

If anyone can point me to a link of the kind of adapter I am looking for, I'd appreciate it much.

Cheers,
-eric

This is for your audio cables. Just plugs into the headphone out.

So I connected my MBP to my TV no problem with Apple's DVI adapter, an S-video cable and a composite audio cable. Works great. The problem is, once I disconnect and return to my MBP sceen, the desktop is rearranged. All the icons I have 'snapped to grid" are piled on top of each other, spread around, and even hanging off the edge of the display. My resolution is set at 1680x1050 in System Prefs. 'Snap to Grid' is still selected in System Prefs, but nevetheless the icons are all over the place.

Also, all my applications windows have been resized (iPhoto, iTunes etc).

What's up with that? Thanks!
