Album art as wallpaper?

1.) Unless you have the desired album art saved in the photos app, you can't use it as a wallpaper.

2.) Not quite sure what you're asking.

Beyond the ones that came with the phone, just don't sync any photos to the phone

I'm not sure if it is possible, at least I have not found an option to do so yet. I don't know why you wouldn't want to sync the album art because it looks very nice, especially when you switch to cover flow.


P.S. The album art doesn't take up a lot of space.

yes. To save it as wallpaper, find a picture of it on the internet, put it in iPhoto or pc equivalent, sync it to your iPhone and choose the picture as your wallpaper.

On a Mac, you can view the album art in iTunes, right-click on it and "Copy" it. Open Preview, do Command-N, save that as a .jpg, then drop it into your iPhoto album that you're synching to the iPhone. Alternatively, as has been mentioned, you can find artwork online, right-click on it and "Add Image to iPhoto Library" but if you can't find a high enough quality version online, this is a good second place 🙂
