Just wondering if there is anywhere where I can get flash for Safari Windows? I have looked on the Adobe website and there's nothing there. I like using safari but if theres no flash I may aswell go back to using IE.

Kind regards

It should use the standard Flash plugin for Windows. I didn't install anything for Safari and Flash is working just fine.

Its just that everytime I go on Facebook it says that I need to update my flash player and i cant get it from Adobe. Am I doing something wrong?

I just went to Facebook to double check it's not some quirkiness there and it still works here (one of the travel quiz games).

What error do you get when you try to get it from Adobe.com?
The player for Vista should be _[accessible here|http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer]_.

You have to download the Netscape/Opera version for windows...

    from http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

I just did it and it solved the problem !

I have Safari 3.0.4 on my Windows Vista machine and it cannot access Flash and Windows Media content on websites. I also have IE7 on Vista and it can access this content. Safari automatically tells me I need to download the appropriate plugins and directs me to the sites where I can do this.

Before I try downloading this recommened version, how can one find out what type and version of Flash and other plugins are on my system? I am having trouble finding plugins on my system especially Flash.

Belay my last post. I did some more digging and found out how to determine my Flash version at the adobe website. I downloaded the Flash player for Netscape/Opera as suggested and now Flash works on Safari.

    Thanks for help.
