Whenever I set the timer, like 30 minutes for a load of laundry, and hit start, it starts at 30:11. Now 11 seconds is no big deal, but is this common to all iPhones, or is mine "special?"
I fixed it. I was testing my timer to see if I could change the ringtone it uses, (someone wrote in to say they could not change their ringtone). So I set it for 1 minute. It didn't add 11 sec to that and has not added it since.
So if you have this problem, just set it for 1 minute and let it run and then it will go away.
My iPhone timer adds 9 seconds, and yes, it was working correctly before I updated my phone to 1.1.3. I have tried setting it to one minute, as suggested in this discussion, but that did not work. I would rather not reset my phone until I know that it won't zap some info I want to keep on the phone, and I'm not sure if that would work anyway. If I figure something out I'll post it here.

Why does the timer add 11 seconds?
