iPod and iTunes not synching Last Played, Play Count

iPod and iTunes not synching Last Played, Play Count

I listen to some tracks on my iPod and then sync it with iTunes, but when I check on iTunes the fields Last Played, Play Count, etc, for the tracks stored on the iPod, it's not in sync with I've been listening to. Why is that?

I'm having the same issue and it's very frustrating. It's now just you as it looks like this is a new issue that's come up. I don't see a work-around so let's hope Apple will resolve this quickly.

Just to let you all know, in fact I'm not using the firmware version 1.0.2, since a lot of people are facing issues, but I used it for a while and didn't solve this problem. Also, it (last played sync) worked sometimes in the past, but it's not working anymore. Unfortunately can't say which firmware version was using at that time. But I think it was 1.0.1.
