Keychain icon disappeared in the menu bar!

I've had this problem already for a while in my MDD. I cannot tell any specific event how the keychain icon disappeared. One day it was gone. All the other icons are there (spotlight, time, etc.). I've found in this site that some others have had the same problem but it seems to me that no solution has been found. Any suggestions? In fact, this is not a great problem because the keychain works fine. It is rather annoying. The keychain repair function does not help. Curiously, when I moved the user accounts from MDD to iMac (10.5.1) the keychain icon was lost again!
