IMAP - How to poll sub-folders (not GMAIL/Yahoo)

I have my own IMAP service, all seems to be working ok, but I have a couple of niggles:

1) Although all my folders and subfolders are seen, only the INBOX is actually automatically polled. The rest I have to manually look in for them to be refreshed, which is far from ideal. In Thunderbird, for instance, there is a check box on each folder to tell it to auto-refresh. Is there something similar on the iPhone IMAP client?

2) Is there anyway to unsubcribe from a folder?

3) Is there a way to collapse/expand nested folders?

Thanks

No. Only the Inbox folder will be polled automatically by the iPhone.

No. All folders in the IMAP directory will be displayed.
3) Is there a way to collapse/expand nested folders?

No. The display is static.
