Warranty on Ipod Nano (3rd Gen)

Hi all,

I would like to find out if the warranty on the Ipod nano-3rd generation- is an international one? If for example, I buy it on a trip to the USA, will it be covered under warranty in the UK if for some reason I need to repair it?
