Airport Extreme and PPPoA

I have just got an Airport Extreme base station and am unable to connect to the internet with it. My connection to the internet uses PPPoA but the base station only has PPPoE as an option. I know this may be a dumb question but does this mean I cannot use the Airport Extreme? Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

AFAIK the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) does not support PPPoA.

Duane is correct the Airport Extreme does not support PPPoA.

You will need to get an ADSL Ethernet Modem which does support PPPoA.

Something like ADSLNation's X-Modem M3 http://www.adslnation.com/products/xmodem-m3.php It is also now available from the UK Apple store and retail stores.

which can also be used in conjunction with an Airport Extreme base station.
