Sharing the Internet

Hello All,

I need some help. I have a Mac Pro that is accessing the internet wirelessly with my neighbors internet connection (don't worry, it's legit). I had to run an external antenna outdoors to pick up the signal because I live in a basement. I also have a Powerbook G4 and the only way I can access the internet with it is to bring it outdoors. My question is, can I configure my Powerbook G4 and my Mac Pro to share the internet connection of the Mac Pro? Please help me as I need to do some work at home and I need a connection on both machines.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.1), Dual Core 3.0 Ghz, 4 GB memory

If you go to System Preferences > Sharing and enable Internet Sharing, your Powerbook should be able to connect to the internet through your Mac Pro. If you're using Leopard it should look a bit like this.

Thanks so much for your reply. If you can answer this one now: Can I do accomplish this by hooking up an ethernet cable between the two computer? Do I have to use wireless? Any extra explanation would be helpful.

I think I've seen that question before, including something about using the second LAN port on the Mac Pro, but I can't remember the outcome. I have a feeling it's not possible. I'm almost positive that you can do it by having both machines plugged into the same LAN hub/router/switch though.
