CANON LBP 2900

I have just bought a canon laser jet printer as above and cannot make it work on my imac. The name of the printer doesn't come up on the list they provide and when i try to print it says 33% complete and then stops without printing anything. Anyone know what to do?

i tried to follow the instructions on my macbook pro with leopard, but didn't work (or better the instructions do not apply to leopard). anybody successful in installing LBP 2900 on leopard?

It's strange because it's works for me.

I'll install the printer on an other mac (Mac Mini) & i'll tell you exactly what i've done to install the printer.

i manage to get leopard to recognize the printer but i can't print anything
it just stays on the queue stopped
also when i press utility the canon CAPT utility doesn't find my printer
any ideas ?

I hope you'll find an answer, I've got a similar problem. I don't even see "CAPT Driver".

Or am I doing something wrong?

just FYI. what shows up is: Unable to locate a suitable driver. when i try to add the printer

I followed your instructions and i've copy your"CAPT"on my macbook pro. It's work like a charm!! Now i can use my LBP2900 on OS 10.5

Hi, Dexter_HD. My LBP2900 plug in my Time Capsule and when I add the printer, the error 9672 occur, how can I fix it 😟

Tried this out on 10.5.2 and it worked perfectly! Relieved I now don't have to return this printer.
