Ibook won't shut down properly
I have the latest G4, which came out just before the new Intel laptops were introduced, and I'm running OSX 10.4.11
Lately, I haven't been able to properly shut down the computer. When I go to the apple menu and click on restart or shutdown (or push the power button quickly), the usual "do you want to shut down" window pops up. When I click on "OK" to shutdown, however, nothing happens. That window disappears but the computer continues to operate as normal and doesn't shut itself down.
To actually shut it down, I have to manually hold the power button - which, I understand, is not good for the system.
Any thoughts on a solution?
Thanks.
