Apple Agent

Yesterday evening I denied access to something called "Apple Agent" (and series of numbers) wanting access to my computer's confidential information.

This morning I found this file: "com.apple.syndicationagent.plist" in User/Library/Preferences, dated yesterday morning.

Does anyone know anything about these two items? Is there any connection between the two?

The syndicationagent app manages your RSS feeds. Basically you tell Safari or some other app to subscribe to a web sites feeds (say Apple Hot News). Now your system will periodically refresh it's RSS content.

Did the message really say "I want your confidential information"? or did it say it wanted to access the internet? It might need keychain access.
