How can I print only a "selection" from a page I want to print? Thanks in advance!

What page are you referring to?

One option that might work for you is to select the portion of a page or document that you want to print, then select the (Application) > Services > TextEdit > New Window Containing Selection menu item. Then you can edit or print the content within TextEdit.

Thanks for the response but I'm still confused. I'm trying to print only a portion or paragraph of a page from the internet without printing the entire page. In the my old pc world, I would highlight the text or picture I wanted, go to print, then choose "selection" as opposed to "all" or "page 1 to page 2". I don't have "selection" as an option on the drop down from the printer. I tried installing the drivers but still don't have that option.

I'm not following your suggestion. Are you in a particular program? Where do I find TextEdit?

Thanks again.

assuming you're using 'safari' here's what bneely is saying (at least this works for me):
1) copy the text you wish to print
2) click on 'safari' in the menu bar...scroll down to 'services' and select 'text edit' then 'new window containing selection'
3) paste the text you copied into this window
4) print

good luck.
