logic pro 8 wont validate korg legacy collection

logic pro 8 wont validate korg legacy collection

the AU for korg legacy collection works on other apps except logic. logic says that "cant be opened" + if i manually try to go to au manger to enable it, it says " updating properties of AU legacy(x) by KORG...FAILED!" x = cell, ms-20 etc. what do i do?

Go to http://www.korguser.net/login.asp?OS=MAC&LAN=1&TOP=1 and see if they have an update that deals with the issue. Or simply contact Korg tech support in your country (go to http://korg.com/ to find those details. It's worth the visit to their site, cuz there's a slammin' picture of Beyonce on their home page at the moment).

i found this: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303695 and also korg website has the same solution. but when i chect the boxes in AU manger it shows
"updating properties of AU MS-20 by KORG...FAILED!" and then it doesn't let me check the box at all

What version of the Legacy are you running? If you are running an old version, you'll probably need to upgrade to the most recent version.

Just FYI I just installed & started using legacy analog collection (2007) last week & is cool in L8. (having one weird sidechain issue with one plug-in but still installed & runs fine) - great synths! (not that that helps with your AU scan problems, sorry)

Hey, here's an idea... Call Korg! 😉

(I had a problem getting the Legacy Collection after I updated my OS sometime back, and their tech support knew exactly what the problem was and got me up and running. So... back to the top...)
