Running MacBook Pro in Clamshell Mode while using Windows XP under Boot Cam

The clamshell option works flawlessly under Leopard except for the sleep function under the 23-inch Apple CInema Display. When I boot into Windows XP under Boot Camp to run a couple of the Windows only programs, I am not able to run the MacBook Pro in clamshell mode.

I have a MacBook Pro 2.6 w Nvidia Graphics card. Since Apple is not supporting this, has anyone found a workaround to this. It is a pain to have to log into Windows XP on the laptop only since it is hooked up to the 23-inch Cinema Display. Any help would be appreciated.
