Can Motion handle 3D objects and apply behaviors to them.
I have created a DNA model in AutoCAD and I wanted to import it into Motion, make it spin and the fade away?
Nope. You'll have to animate it in AutoCAD or other 3D application and then export it as a QT movie with alpha (Animation codec with alpha) and then bring that into Motion. You will then be able to composite your 3D object with other Motion elements.
AutoCAD files are not compatible with Mac OS X.You can't import a .dwg / .dxf / .dwf into the Mac directly. You'll need another application to open it.On the other hand you can try to export your file to VIZ Render and produce a Quick Time movie.Thereof, you can import it to Motion as an object.
