DigiEffect - Delirium & Aurorix

Each time I try to use them in Motion (3rd party plugins for AE) Motion crashes.
Does anyone uses these plugins and if you do, are you sucesfull running them in Motion 1 or 2? I thought most if not all 3rd party plugs for AE can run under Motion.

Thanks,
Mike

In order to be useful in Motion, third party filters must comply strictly with Adobe's AE3.0 SDK. DigiEffects was always an independent thinker, never following anyone's rules. Those old packages have not been properly updated for years and, even with the latest patches, they often crash my AE6 and 6.5 installs.

Plus, they are not designed to take advantage of anything Motion offers, as far as I can tell. Use them in AE and port your movies across to Motion.

DigiEffects has a new package, FANTAZM, but no mention of Motion compatibility.

Thanks for the input. I have had no problems in AE with Aurorix (currently 6.5 with updated packages) except very few crashes. I am waiting with the 10.4.3 update as currently working on some tight deadline projects and do not want to end up with Motion crashes like many of the people which posted their Motion 2.0.1 problems.

However will try the update over the weekend anyway.
Thanks to both of you. I do appreciate it.

Best, Mike
