Error code 2738

I have tried to load the latest version of Quicktime V7.5 om my new computer with Vista Home basic, and it came up with error 2738. Looked up forum and went to Apple and tried the "Command as Administrator" as outlined in article. Error came up "The module vbscript failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specific path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependant DLL files. The specific module could not be found." Would somebody be able to help me as I am completely computer illiterate and this is all "foreign to me".
I have Quicktime on my 2nd computer that has Windows XP and had no problem with it.

Hmmmm. Do you have a 64-bit version of Vista or a 32 bit? In a 64-bit vista, the VBscript module is kept in a different location.

So, if you've got a 64-bit version go to the command prompt, try a cd to C:\windows\syswow64 and do the registration there (rather than cd-ing to C:\windows\system32).
