keys switched? Z and Y plus ! and + have changed!

I was on Skype and suddenly realised that my keys have changed. Z and Y have changed places.. when i looked in International I noticed that although it says British English, the flag being shown is the Swiss Flag and the French Flag. At the moment I'm using US keyboard but I'd rather go back to how it was! Anyone know as to why I'm now using a swiss/french layout which OSX thinks is "British"?

Now when British is selected and I turn input menu in menu bar on its shown with the swiss & french flag - not the Union Jack... But it's changed my keyboard layout in the sense that the Y key initiates Z and Z initiates Y.

That's because the Swiss and French type that way. Could you please confirm for me exactly which boxes you have checked in System Preferences > International > Input Menu?
