Bad audio noises on web sites (crackling and popping) after Leopard Install

When I view sites that have audio such as youtube or flash sites I am getting a lot of different noises.
This is happening on the built in audio on my G5 as well as my motu 828mkII. I have checked for this problem on some pcs(windows machines) using internet explorer and the audio seems fine. I have even tried firefox on my G5 but the noise is still there. I was searching for some sites using flash audio and came across this advertisement site that really causes the audio to go nuts. I was just wondering if any one else is having this same problem.

Thanks
Joeip

Is is "static" (popping and cracking link an FM/AM radio might due) that your hearing or is the audio garbled?

have you tried using headphones in the same audio jack to see if you hear the same thing?

if it's static, than it could be a number of things:
• has your computer ever over heated since you've installed 10.5?
• Do you house your computer in an extremely humid room?
• it could be bad wiring or jack
