Adding tunes to ipod without syncing

I use Windows Media Player...so copying all those files into itunes not only will take a very long time but it will also take up a lot of space on my computer. Is there any way to add the songs to my ipod without having those songs in itunes and syncing them from there?

If you were foresighted enough to have them all in MP3 format, you can add them to your iTunes library without making any new copies. Go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced > General and make sure that "Keep..." and "Copy..." are both not checked.

If they are WMAs, sorry.
