iPhone headphones covered by warranty?

Hey guys, my first post here on this site.

I was wondering if the headset that came with the iPhone package are covered by a warranty of some sort.

Why am I asking this? My headphones are acting up, they are not like what they were when I first got them. The sound is static-y, especially in the left earbud.

I am trying to find out if there is someway that I can get these replaced without having to fork out 30 bucks.

Gets me through., Windows Vista, Cost me less than my iPhone!

Headphones are covered under the warranty to the iphone, and if you are having issues with the headphones, Give Apple Care a call and they will get them replaced for you. 1-888-694-7466

Go to https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do, I just replaced my headphones this way. They will send you a replacement set and if you don't send the original ones back, they'll charge you $29. But as long as you send them back, they're free.

I just called up the Technical Support number, and spent the last 25 minutes scheduling an appointment in the SoHo store, I hope I get my headset replaced that way.

Hopefully. Did you mention what the purpose of the Appointment was? If so and they said come in I'm sure you will get a new pair.

Otherwise they would of told you to call AppleCare

That's funny, my right one has been acting up lately. It happens every now and then that I get a static noise in that ear bud.

my left bud is very fuzzy on most songs but ok with podcasts, was thinking of going to the apple store but knowing my luck when they try them out they will be fine.

I'm having problems with my headphones as well. They initially worked very well but after about a month of use a connection has loosened up in the mic/button area. It is really annoying and especially problematic outdoors in cold weather (running, biking, skiing). I expected a little higher quality product. I'm going to go to an Apple Store today and see what they say.

the earbud with the mic had gone out completely, not that big of a deal to me until i wasn't able to easily pause movies or music (on the headphone), so i took it to the apple store. no questions asked they exchanged them right away and i left.

pls people help me on one thing...does apple gives warranty on headphones.....

i have i gb shuffle ipod...but the salesman is sayin that....apple is not giving any warranty on headphones...is this ture...they say head phone are irreplaceable...pls help me guys..

The headphones included with the iPhone or iPod are covered by the Apple Warranty.
