AIFF or AIFC

AIFF or AIFC

The manual says that we can use AIFF or AIFC, but talks more about AIFF.

I have music tracks in AIFC, 48 Khz, 16 bits.

Just to be sure: AIFC is fine in FCP ?

AIFF could be better in term of quality or is it the same thing as AIFC?

AIFC files are compressed AIFF files, and should work just fine with FCP. I'd think that if the original files you have are aifc, then changing them to aiff wouldn't add any quality. Both AIFF and AIFC are quality files.
