Arial Unicode & Character Palette

When I open the character palette, Arial Unicode doesn't appear in many of the Unicode ranges despite the fact that it clearly contains characters for those ranges (as verified by opening it up in FontLab Studio). This is somewhat aggravating because there are a number of scripts out there which aren't covered by any Leopard font other than Arial Unicode.

Are other users experiencing this problem? If so, does anyone know what might be going wrong and how to fix it?

TIA

Leopard is programmed to ignore those ranges of Arial Unicode where the scripts probably cannot be displayed correctly using a Windows font (especially all Indic languages). If you give the names of the scripts you want to use, I can probably suggest a font you can download.

Thanks.

That answers my question.

I have access to decent fonts for all of the languages which I need, though I appreciate your offer. I'd just hoped that the inclusion of Arial Unicode with Leopard would get rid of most of the empty squares one sees when viewing the character palette, even if the glyph-reordering, etc., needed to properly render them wasn't available.
