Not all of us are frenetic teenagers. Will iTunes radio ever add some stations that don't induce heart attacks?

Doubtful. That radio list is just intended as a sampler. It has never been updated and is maintained by a rogue server. As far as I am aware, no one at apple has ever claimed that they can change that list. I can tell you that it has remained pretty much the same ever since it was created.

It was updated recently as I now have at least 3 times as many stations available as previously.

However, you are correct in that it does seem to be some backroom server that no one knows anything about it or even how to contact anyone about it.

OK. Thats good to know. From what I have ever gathered it doesn't look like it will grown much farther than a sampler however.

Prepackaged radio is w-a-y out of style. Go to Pandora.com. Type in a few artists that you like (which in your case might George Winston and John Tesh). It creates a custom "station" by choosing music in a similar vein, and let's you "tune" it as you go along.

If it plays a track you really love, buy a copy in the iTunes Store.

Yeah, some of us want to listen to Led Zepplin!!! But seriously, I found Sky.fm's New Age stream under "International". There was also a New Age holiday stream under, you guessed it, "Holiday". So, it seems that it's there, just not broken out in it's own category.

But I also agree that you should check out Pandora.

shoutcast.com and live365.com also provide a dizzying variety of "stations" programmed by pros and ameteurs and plays back through iTunes.
