problems when selecting restart slideshow if idle

I'm designing a keynote presentation to be played on a kiosk using the hyperlink only method. After two minutes of inactivity I would like the kiosk to go into an attract mode, basically a screensaver of images rotating until someone touches the screen again.

When I select 'restart slideshow if idle' the presentation goes back to the first slide and then repeats the first build over and over again. Is there anyway to avoid this problem or is there a way to active the main screensaver while in a keynote presentation?

Hallo Nicholas,

my problem is near to yours. My kiosk-system is working in our museum with touchscreens as an interactiv presentation. On the first slide is a self running animation, the second slide shows the choices (hyperlinks) you have to the other presenations (text, Films etc.). After showing a small movie f.e. the transition should return automaticly always to the second slide for making an new choice. Keynotes offers but only the automatic transition to the next slide - so far I knew. Is there any way to jump with automatic transition to the a slide a can define?

In practice this method doesn't work. I aleays had program breakdown after ca. 3-4 hours if there was an animation on the first slide. It worked not till I disabled the animation.
