Kanguru Flash Drives
I'm thinking of buying an 8GB flash drive for use on the firewire port. I can't use ExpressCard since my Verizon aircard uses it, and I find USB flash drives to be slow.
I'm looking at the Kanguru 8GB Fire Flash drives ( http://www.kanguru.com/fireflash.html#).
Does anyone have any experience with these? I've found a lot of USB flashdrives spontaneously eject when in use under Mac OS X (not as often with Vista, also running on my MacBook Pro). I'd like to avoid that problem, and also get faster transfer speeds.
Most important question: does anyone know if the Kanguru drives will run not just on Mac OS X, but also under Windows Vista running on the MacBook Pro? (Note I run Vista natively on a separate partition, not through Parallels or another emulator.)
Cheers,
Dan
